OK, my fellow polish whores...you know I don't really swatch. Not per se. I don't swatch a collection. I don't have time, energy or frankly, nails tough enough to constantly handle all the acetone involved. However. When the L'Oiseau de Feu collection hit my doorstep, I knew I had to. I had to get them on right away, I had to try them, see them, gaze longingly and adoringly at them...
Have you ever ordered from Rescue Beauty? It's definitely one of my favorite sites to order from. Not only are the polishes primo, but the service is great. The polishes all arrive in a little brick wrapped in Rescue Beauty Lounge tissue paper. I thought I had a pic of that but evidently I don't...
The first of the collection is Pizzicato. It's a pale sparkly pinky lavender. Ji describes it:
“I envisioned my first color—Pizzicato—inspired by the gentle tiny taps of rain droplets as they hit the tin roof, reminiscent of plucked strings. A misty white with the faintest hint of lavender, Pizzicato has a shimmer that acts like prisms of light in a sun shower.” From http://blog.rescuebeauty.com/2011/07/
Check this beauty out:
See the shimmer? It does look exactly like raindrops on there. It's gorgeous.
Here's another:
Isn't that gorgeous? That sparkle in the bottle translates so beautifully to the nail. Here's a straight nail shot:
See that silvery shimmery loveliness? Couldn't you just die??? Go. Now. Order.
Happy Talons!
